Janet King
CEO & Founder
Janet King is the founder and CEO of King Interpreting Services, a woman-owned interpreting agency she built from the ground up in 2017. Drawing on a distinguished career managing benefits and pension programs for Fortune 500 companies, Janet brought executive-level discipline and operational expertise to a field that needed it. Her motivation, however, was never purely professional. Janet has a genuine heart for building bridges between communities, and she founded KIS on the belief that access and inclusion are not optional. Under her leadership, the company has grown from a local Florida operation into a provider of ASL, CDI, and foreign language interpreting services across the state and nationwide. Janet holds memberships with the Registry of Interpreters for the Deaf (RID), the Florida Registry of Interpreters for the Deaf (FRID), the Florida Association of the Deaf, and the Florida Department of Management Services.

James King
CFO
James King serves as Chief Financial Officer of King Interpreting Services, bringing over 30 years of combined experience in retail management and accounting to the role. A four-time degree holder, including an MBA and a Master of Arts in English, James joined KIS at its founding with a clear purpose — to ensure the company's financial and business operations were built on sound, compliant foundations. He holds certifications as a Business Specialist and in Google AI, reflecting a commitment to staying current as the business landscape evolves. James oversees the accounting department, advises the executive team on strategic direction, and keeps a close eye on market shifts to position KIS for continued growth.

Kristi Faro
Office Manager
Kristi Faro is the Office Manager at King Interpreting Services, bringing a steady hand and a broad skill set to one of the most demanding roles in the organization. Since joining KIS in 2019, Kristi has become an indispensable part of the team, managing accounting functions, coordinating scheduling, and serving as a key point of contact for client communications. Her background as a travel agent gave her an early foundation in customer service, logistics, and the kind of detail-oriented thinking that complex operations require. Kristi is known for keeping things running behind the scenes, bridging gaps between departments, and ensuring that nothing falls through the cracks.

Zack Venson
Scheduling Coordinator
Zack Venson serves as Scheduling Coordinator at King Interpreting Services, bringing two years of dedicated service and a reputation for seeing every assignment through from start to finish. Before joining KIS, Zack served as a worship leader at a local church, a role that sharpened his ability to coordinate people, manage logistics, and communicate with care. At KIS, he matches interpreters to assignments, manages scheduling calendars, and handles client communications with a level of detail and professionalism that the team relies on. Zack takes ownership of every call that comes into the scheduling department and does not let go until it is resolved.

Cris Pablo
Foreign Language Coordinator
Cris Pablo serves as Foreign Language Coordinator at King Interpreting Services, bringing three years of dedicated service and a work ethic that the team depends on daily. With a background in architecture, Cris developed a precision-focused mindset that translates directly into managing complex logistics and provider relationships. A native Spanish speaker, he coordinates foreign language interpreters, oversees the onboarding of new interpreters into the KIS network, maintains provider relationships, and steps into interpreting assignments himself when needed. Cris is known for his transparency with both interpreters and clients, and his ability to adapt quickly in a fast-moving environment makes him an invaluable part of the KIS team.

Daniel Lumpkin
ASL Onboarding & Cruise Coordinator
Daniel Lumpkin holds one of the more specialized roles at King Interpreting Services, serving as both ASL Interpreter Onboarding Coordinator and Cruise Coordinator. On the onboarding side, Daniel is responsible for bringing new ASL interpreters into the KIS network, guiding them through the process and ensuring they are fully prepared to represent the company's commitment to access and inclusion from day one. On the cruise side, he coordinates the delivery of interpreting services to KIS cruise clients — a demanding specialty that requires precision scheduling, strong communication, and the ability to manage logistics in a fast-moving environment. Daniel's role touches both the people who deliver KIS services and the clients who depend on them.
